Leadership and Innovation

The International Fellowships for Leaders programme will focus on developing the leadership and management excellence of experienced and highly-respected Irish school leaders. Differing from traditional didactic and research-led studies, these Leadership Fellowships will offer a small number of principal teachers the opportunity to visit other international education systems. In conjunction with a recognised third level international institute, the beneficiaries of the Leadership Fellowships will attend an international programme designed for advanced school leaders. On their return, fellowship awardees will publish their findings and present to networks of NCLI and IPPN.

Through organisations, such as the network of the International Confederation of Principals (ICP), they will be facilitated to meet and work with some of the most respected leaders in education in countries whose education systems have consistently performed to the highest international standard.
