Leadership and Innovation Research
Leadership can be defined as “what the future should look like, aligns people with that vision and inspires them to make it happen despite the obstacles.” Innovation can be defined as “the process of making changes to something established by introducing something new; these changes can be either radical or incremental” and applied to products, processes or services.
Applying innovative thinking to leadership challenges is one step towards creating an innovative organisational response to change and challenge. But However, developing a culture of innovation, where others throughout the sector apply innovative thinking to solve problems and develop new products and services, requires additional research.
