There are countless definitions and interpretations of leadership.  Different people have a different understanding of its meaning. Leaders can be transformative, instructional, inspirational, courageous and influential. Leadership is frequently confused with management and celebrities are often incorrectly referred to as leaders.

 

The challenge of this programme, which can be customised for all ages is to explore the definitions and categories of leadership, understand their differences and their suitability for different situations and most importantly to develop awareness of one’s own leadership capacity, regardless of your position or status in life. The main aim of this programme will be to educate pupils on positive leadership and innovation and to explore the various categories of leadership and their suitability for different situations. It consists of age-appropriate modules to equip children with the analytical skills to discern true leadership from populism and the culture of celebrity.
